Millet Makes His Mark.

Christian Millet's art will remind you of both Mayan cuneiform and William Gibson's literary themes. Exotic and rich-toned, coolly swaying draws and bends mated with a warm ritual focus, he's a young multicultural artist working in Dallas. Born in Lima, Peru in 1978, he's become the Resident Artist at Smoke and Mirrors Gallery since relocating to the United States in 2003. His recent curation of Project 7x7 in which local artists each took a turn at expressing their own world views on each others work was a great success. Look for him if you find yourself in the Metroplex. He's worth seeking out.
